Note: Some older TV models and those with PIN-protected access may have limitations. If your TV shows an "accept device" confirmation message, you can manage connected devices through your TV's Menu > General Settings > External Device Manager > Device Connection Manager. You can also disable repeated notifications by adjusting Access Notification settings to "First Time Only."

**Infrared (IR) Control for Direct Command** If your phone has a built-in IR blaster — found on many Samsung Galaxy S, HTC One, LG G3/G4/G5, Xiaomi Mi/Redmi/Note, and Huawei Mate/Honor devices — you can control your TV the traditional way. Point your phone directly at the TV, and commands will transmit within 4–10 feet (1–3 meters). This method works with Samsung TV F and M models and likely supports most Samsung Smart TVs built in 2005 or later. Battery and power-saving modes may reduce IR range, so ensure adequate charge for best performance.
